Tom Sandoval‘s messy split from model Victoria Lee Robinson has exploded into a full-blown legal war, complete with a restraining order, a dramatic arrest and newly surfaced security footage that appears to show the Vanderpump Rules alum shoving Robinson’s father directly into a lit fire pit.
On June 25, TMZ reported that Sandoval, 42, filed a restraining order against Robinson, 33, after she was arrested for allegedly attacking him. Victoria was arrested on June 3 on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and later posted $50,000 bail.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Tom claims he was verbally and physically abused by Victoria after a night of drinking, which he described as the final straw in a rocky relationship in which he says he was often mistreated.
Sandoval claimed he and Victoria were engaged in a verbal argument at his home when he noticed she was filming him with her phone. Amid the couple’s argument, Victoria’s dad, Will Robinson, allegedly became aggressive, leading Sandoval to lock himself in a guest room for protection. Sandoval claimed that Will proceeded to “punch a large hole” into the door of the guest room, stick his face through the hole, and threaten Sandoval.
Things then turned physical. Sandoval alleged that Victoria physically abused him by punching him in the face and injuring his neck and ear on June 3, and that the impact of her punch “was so forceful” that it caused him to suffer blurred vision and lasting pain.
“I sustained a bruise near my temple and eyebrow ridge and bled from my ear and neck as a result of [Robinson] striking me that night,” he alleged. “The pain in my mouth persisted for two weeks, which prompted me to visit the ER to be evaluated.”
After the alleged assault, Sandoval called the police, who came out and arrested Victoria.
Adding another explosive layer to the saga, home security footage from that same night surfaced publicly and appears to show Sandoval on the wrong side of the story himself. In the video obtained by TMZ, Tom and Victoria appear to be seen screaming at each other before Tom rushes toward Victoria, seemingly to try to grab a recording device from her hands. Will then seemingly grabs Tom around the waist in an apparent effort to pull him away from his daughter. Tom appears to shove Will backward, sending him crashing into the lit fire pit before colliding with Victoria.
Will Robinson appears to try to avoid the fire with no luck, seemingly yelling in pain before getting his bearings and running after Sandoval, who had already walked inside the house.
Sandoval addressed his role in the fire pit incident directly in his court declaration. “Feeling trapped and violated, I pushed Mr. Robinson away from me in order to protect myself and create distance, which caused him to fall. Mr. Robinson was the first person to put his hands on me,” Sandoval wrote. “At no point did I pursue Mr. Robinson.”
Will Robinson is telling a very different story. “The DA did not file the case for a reason. I lifted Tom off of my daughter because he was overpowering and twisting her arm and trying to take her phone aggressively after yelling at us in a very aggressive and threatening manner,” Will told TMZ.
Will claims Tom then shoved him into the lit fire pit, causing injuries that required medical treatment and will require additional care. He also alleges he was the one, not Tom, who called police “for our safety.” Will further alleged, “This is my daughter’s home and we just want Tom as far away from us as possible and to keep his lies and drunken abuse away.”
Will Robinson filed a counter restraining order against Sandoval and contended that he received multiple injuries from the scuffle on June 3, including a ruptured disc in his back, as well as a broken thumb and elbow and a wound on his heel.
Sandoval also claimed that Victoria has been abusive throughout the course of their more than two-year relationship, alleging that she punched him in the face, threw a full Gatorade bottle at him, verbally abused him, changed his passwords on his phone and social media, and tracked him through an AirTag. He also claimed that she called him a “f–king loser” and told him she could do much better than him.
A judge granted Sandoval’s request for a temporary restraining order against both Victoria and her father and ordered them to move out immediately. Since then, Tom has been living in hotels or staying with friends, and multiple attempts to retrieve his personal belongings from the house have been met with threats.
A hearing on the restraining order has been set for July 16.
The blowup is a stunning turn for a couple that seemed, at least publicly, to be on solid ground. As part of a March 2025 Us Weekly cover story, Sandoval praised Robinson as a “strong and supportive” partner, saying: “I’ve been extremely happy in [our] relationship. We work very well, we have similar goals, and it feels like we could really grow together. I feel so fortunate and lucky to have her in my life.”
A representative for Victoria Lee Robinson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
