Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to another week in drag…actually, it’s more like the week in All Stars, because we’ve got lots of interviews and music from our top 4 queens.
Of course, we also have a new member of Drag Race royalty and she’s got a powerful new song with a message man needs to hear. In addition to lots of All Stars news, we’ve also got new videos from Trixie and Katya, a wig reinvention by Jaymes Mansfield and a futuristic new video from our last All Stars champion. Let’s bring it to the runway!
As you know, to avoid spoilers, All Stars films each queen getting the crown, so during filming, they didn’t know who really won. At the finale screening, the top 4 watched and reacted to the crowning. Is someone chopping onions?
In case you missed the performance of “This is My Country” and the Eleganza Extravaganza on the runway, you can get the scoop from season 13 champion Symone and Trixie Mattel, as they recap the finale on “The Pit Stop”
Our newest All Stars champion, Kylie Sonique Love, released a beautiful and moving new video for her song, “Complete Me.” The video features cameos from Laganja Estranja and Eureka O’Hara among others.
With the season over, the top 4 queens are heading for the hot seat as they talk about the season with Michelle Visage on “Whatcha Packin’?” Here Eureka talks about her All Stars experience (and third time around.)
Eureka and Ginger Minj spoke with US Weekly right after the finale aired.
We still miss Trinity K Bonet, so we couldn’t not share her post-elimination interview with Us Weekly.
Last week, the queens delivered heartfelt and sometimes hilarious monologues and showcased some fashion faux pas on the runway. Bob the Drag Queen and Thorgy Thor discuss the episode on “Purse First Impressions” (if nothing else, watch to hear about Thorgy’s ghost.)
Raja and Raven take a look back at the top 5’s “fashion fails” on the runway on the latest ‘Fashion Photo Ruview.”
Yuhua Hamasaki and Jackie Cox rate and review the looks from last week’s “Oops, I Did It Again:” runway looks on “Bootleg Opinions.”
If you’ve been craving a makeup video, Trinity K. Bonet is here to save the day. Here she shows us how she created the makeup for her Blue Ball challenge look.
The stunning Divina De Campo joins Yuhua to give their first “Bootleg Opinions” on the queens of Drag Race UK season 3 (including the returning Veronica Green) while discussing their promo and “Meet the Queens” looks.
If you were wondering why Shea Couleé was in a weird spacesuit on the All Stars finale, this video explains it. Her new song “Collide” is a must-listen.
Some of your favorite queens are hitting the road in celebration of the spookiest holiday of the year on Voss Events’ 10th Annual “Night of the Living Drag: The North American Halloween Tour.” The fierce night of fright will be hosted by the diva of darkness, Violet Chachki, who will guide audiences through the untimely deaths of Drag Race favorites Gottmik, Rosé, Season 10 winner Aquaria, Season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall, Alyssa Edwards, Kandy Muse, Plastique, and Kim Chi.
“Halloween is my favorite time of year, and I am obsessed with ’Night of the Living Drag,’” said Violet in the tour announcement. “All Drag Race fans know that I have always been drawn to over-the-top costumes, opulent scenery, and jaw-dropping performances that shock and amaze. In this show, I’m not only lifting spirits, I’m summoning them!”
The tour will kick off Friday, October 15 in Boston. From there, the caravan of undead queens will be making stops in Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, L.A., New York City, and Washington, D.C., finally finishing in Philadelphia on Halloween night. For more info about tour dates and tickets, head over to the Voss Events website.
Trixie and Katya watch the Netflix remake of “She’s All That”, the rather obviously titled “He’s All That” on “I Like to Watch.”
Trixie and Katya are tired and they talk about it on the latest “UNHhhh.”
Trixie pairs up with Iggy Azalea to show off her “Totally Plastic” makeup collab with BH Cosmetics as they get ready together.
Georgia’s own Aiden Zhane is back with another video discussing the ins and outs of silicone breast plates.
Jaymes Mansfield gives a wig from her Vegas sister Coco Montrese a much-needed freshening up in her latest video.
That’s it for this week. I’ll leave you with the latest video from Ginger Minj. The country tune “Walk Tall” was inspired by the story she told on All Stars. The release marks the first track from her forthcoming album, Double Wide Diva, due out on Friday, September 17th.
Until next week, stay safe, stay healthy, get vaccinated and say LOVE!
