RuPaul's Drag Race UK

Hello, hello, hello! It’s time to catch up on the latest from your favorite RuPaul’s Drag Race queens. This week, we meet the latest members of the Pit Crew from “across the pond”, check out the latest ways to beat your mug with help from Willam and Mama Ru herself and catch up with our reigning Drag Race queen Yvie Oddly and season six champion Bianca Del Rio – and so much more. Let’s bring it to the runway.

The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out last Saturday and RuPaul’s Drag Race took home awards for Outstanding Hairstyling, Outstanding Costumes. Mama Ru took home her fourth Emmy as Outstanding Host. The ceremony airs tomorrow night at 8pm on FXX.

Speaking of Emmys, someone who definitely deserved one this year was season 3 and Drag U alum, Delta Work. She won an Emmy last year for Outstanding Hairstyling from her work on season 10 of Drag Race but this year, due to a “technicality”, she was not nominated for her work on season 11. Delta took to Instagram to share her thoughts, as well as the email she sent to the Television Academy (she also, graciously congratulated Hector Pocasangre, who got the nomination – and last week, the award for hairstyling for the “Trump: The Rusical” episode.) What’s worse is that after she was snubbed, she was fired from the show.

Delta talked about the situation with Willam and Alaska on this week’s episode of “Hot Goss” and it’s a must-listen. Delta is an amazing performer and a super nice person (who I had the privilege to interview during season three) and she was definitely done dirty. I wish her nothing but success and hope that whoever is responsible for the egregious snub does the right thing and give credit where it’s due. I am, and will always be #TeamDelta.

If you were already anticipating the FOMO you would experience by missing out on the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, have we got good news for you! New episodes will air day-in-date with the BBC on WOW Presents Plus (with the exception of Canada, UK, and Ireland). The premiere episode will debut on the streaming service on October 3 at 12pm PST and new episodes go live every Thursday.

Our favorite Drag Race podcasts continue to deliver lots of laughs and spill plenty of tea. Mano Agapion and Drew Droege revisit the finale of All-Stars season one on “Drag Her.” Willam and Alaska take us back to season three's pre-finale “Superstar Edition” (a/k/a clip show) on “Race Chaser” classique.

Did you check out Willam's responses to the Socialite Seven? We chatted about his new makeup line Coverboy. You can now check out the launch of the collection and Willam's misadventures at DragCon NYC in this video. Now I wish I had gone to DragCon. Maybe next year…

Here's an early present for you Drag Race fans, get ready for the “Drag Queen Christmas” tour hosted by season 11’s Miss Congeniality, Nina West. In addition to Nina, some of the other queens in your stocking include Willam, Thorgy Thor, Manila Luzon, Latrice Royale, Scarlet Envy and the iconic Lady Bunny. The tour kicks off on November 19 in Montclair, New Jersey and ends on December 29 in Tampa, Florida. If you're looking for that gift for that special someone, you can't beat tickets to this holiday extravaganza! Visit Drag Fans for more information and tickets and, as Venus D'Lite would say, have a “kissy Christmas.”

Season 11’s winner, Yvie Oddly, has a new series on WOW Presents Plus. On the debut episode of “Yvie's Odd School”, the reigning queen teaches you how to convert trash to fashionable treasure. Yvie and her creative partner, Morgan Taylor, talked about the new show and so much more in this panel recorded at Drag Con NYC. Could someone just make a compilation video of all of the times Yvie laughs on this? I absolutely love her laugh.

The premiere party for RuPaul's Drag Race UK not only introduced us to the ten fabulous queens seeing to be the UK's next drag superstar, but the hunky men of the new Pit Crew (the Brit Crew?) Oh, Mitch…These cuties AND Graham Norton? I cannot wait for this show.

If you're a cosmetic junkie like myself, you may have to checkout Mama Ru‘s new cosmetics collection with Mally Beauty, a brand founded by celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal. The products in the long-awaited Mally X RuPaul Color Cosmetics Collection include beauty essentials like primer, eye shadow, eye and lip liners, mascara, lipsticks and a highlighter/rouge combo. The collection is surprisingly affordable, with prices ranging from $29 to $40 and Ru-themed names like “A Little Shady”, “WerkRoom” and of course, “Charisma”, “Uniqueness”, “Nerve” and “Talent”. Said Ru of the new line, “These are the colors that I wear all the time, and they absolutely work. There's something there for everyone. It's fun to play with the trends, but you want to keep going back to the classics. There's a lot of fun there, too.”  The Mally X RuPaul Color Cosmetics Collection is available now at qvc.com.

While we all anxiously await the return of “UNHhhh” with Trixie and Katya, WOWPresents has gifted us with more randomness and outtakes from this past season. These two are truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Violet Chachki takes a break from fashion and takes us on a “tattoo tour”, answering your burning questions about all of her ink. Watching this, I found out she got my favorite of her tats, the blindfolded woman on her shoulder, here in Atlanta. Don't tempt me, Violet…

Jinkx Monsoon is “ACTING!” on this week's episode of “Cool Mom”, chatting with her son Kamikaze about theatricality and teaching the basics of Acting 101 to all of you aspiring thespians out there.

I missed this one last week, but I love Bianca Del Rio and had to share this recent interview where she talks about her world tour, being classified as a “comedy queen”, tips for executing a good read and more. Bianca always gives good interview, and this is no exception.
