Hello, hello, hello! We are back with more drag news and updates from your favorite queens in The Week in Drag.
The finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is only days away and we have Ru-caps and fashion commentary as well as a chat with the last eliminated queen. We also have new videos from the queens who make us laugh – Katya, Trixie Mattel, and Willam – and more wig wizardry from Jaymes Mansfield.
If you missed the first season of Drag Race Holland, you might want to subscribe to WOW Presents Plus and check it out after watching the winning queen, the stunning Envy Peru, in an in-depth interview. Let’s get this party started and let’s bring it to the runway!
The insanely delightful Nicole Byer joins Trixie Mattel to discuss the monologue challenge and runway looks on the latest episode of “The Pit Stop.”
Thorgy Thor is back! She and Bob the Drag Queen are here to review the “Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent Monologues” episode of All Stars. Thorgy also shares tales of her Klub Kids UK appearance and her alleged altercation with Drag Race UK’s Tia Kofi (who pops in to share her side of the story.) This is definitely the video of the week.
We now have our top 4 queens heading to the season six finale and, sadly, Atlanta queen Trinity K. Bonet didn’t make the cut. (Honestly, to quote her, “this is some B.S.”) She talks about her All Stars journey with Michelle Visage on “Whatcha Packin’?”
Raven, serving Morticia Addams realness and Raja toot and boot the queen’s lip sync smackdown fashions on the latest “Fashion Photo Ruview.”
I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I have enough Brita Filter in my life. Fortunately for me, she joins Yuhua Hamasaki to give her honest thoughts about the smackdown looks on “Bootleg Opinions.”
Did you catch RuPaul guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live? Mama Ru delivered a hilarious monologue, interviewed comedienne Iliza Shlesinger and season 13 champion Symone. I am digging late-night Ru…are you?
If you’re suffering from Drag Race overload (like I am), you may not be keeping up with the second season of Drag Race Holland, but thankfully Alexis Mateo and Nicky Doll are here to catch you up and discuss the Monster’s Ball runway on “Fashion Photo Ruview: Holland Edition.”
Need a laugh? (Who doesn’t?) Willam is here with another (rather NSFW) “Beatdown.” His time around, she takes on an adult star sharing some very intimate merchandise, a man trying to teach his girl to twerk and a queen who brings a whole new meaning to the saying “an apple a day”.
Willam and Alaska take a deep dive inti the comments on their awesome “Race Chaser” podcast.
All rise! Court is now in session with the wildest cases you’ve ever seen. Willam holds court on his new series Iconic Justice, which premiered Monday on OutTV's Apple+ TV channel. Entertainment Weekly chatted with Willam about the new show, and she said, “Going on TV just to judge people? I've been training my whole life for this gig. Seriously though, no one teaches you how to be queer, so for all the stupidity and fun on the show, there's actually real advice too and that's something I'm proud of.”
Don’t watch this if you’re hungry…but, if you’re ready for a snack, watch as Trixie and Katya talk all things lunch on “UNHhhh.” The pair talk about free school lunches, Katya’s disdain for condiments, the universal appeal of brunch and more.
She proved to be the true lip sync assassin last week, and now Silky Nutmeg Ganache kikis with Trixie as they get inti drag together. While haters gonna hate, I absolutely love the Silk with the good milk.
She was on season one of both Drag Race and All Stars, and she’s always a delight. Watch as the gloriously kooky Tammie Brown joins Honey Davenport on “Da Fuq?” The pair discuss random stories about topics including Franken-fish and a car story that’s un-bee-lievabe
Drag Race Holland champion Envy Peru is the latest queen to be “exposed” by Joseph Shepherd.
Jaymes Mansfield styles a wig for doll creator Hextian. She turns a Candice premium wig from her own Jaymes Mansfield Beauty collection into a 1960s bouffant that pays tribute to Priscilla Presley’s Elvis days.
And that’s it for this week. Until next week, when we have a new addition to the Drag Race Hall of Fame, stay safe, stay healthy, get vaccinated and say LOVE!
