West Wilson‘s time in the Hamptons is officially over.

The sports journalist and reality TV personality is not returning to Bravo’s Summer House, a source close to production has confirmed. Wilson won’t be returning for Season 11 when the show begins filming in early July. His contract has not been renewed.

Wilson joined the show during Season 8 and is leaving ahead of Season 11. His exit comes in the immediate wake of one of the most combustible storylines in the series’ history, and few insiders appear surprised by the outcome.

Wilson became embroiled in a relationship scandal with co-star Amanda Batula, the estranged wife of Summer House veteran Kyle Cooke. Wilson and Batula confirmed their relationship on March 31, around two months after Batula and Cooke publicly announced their separation after four years of marriage.

The rumor created ripples throughout the Summer House fandom and cast, since Batula was best friends with Wilson’s ex, Ciara Miller. The fallout was swift and merciless, playing out across a record-breaking reunion that transfixed Bravo viewers for weeks.

The West-Batula news fractured the cast due to secrecy and betrayals, and the fallout played out over an explosive three-part reunion that concluded last week. The confirmation sparked a scandal and ratings bonanza that Bravo hasn’t seen since the likes of “Scandoval” in 2023.

During the June 9 reunion episode, Wilson admitted to host Andy Cohen that he was on beta blockers to calm his nerves during the roasting by his castmates. “I’m trying to stay composed as much as possible,” he shared, to which Ciara fired back with, “Or you’re just a sociopath.” After confirming he took prescription medication, he added, “I don’t know if that’s why I’m not sobbing in this moment. This matters to me. I apologize if I don’t read emotional enough.”

The fallout from Miller being betrayed by her ex-boyfriend, Wilson, and her best friend, Batula, has been brutal. For viewers, Season 10 laid bare just how damaged those relationships had become.

Wilson’s conduct off-camera further strained his standing with the cast. Wilson said on his own podcast, “Show Me Something,” that he hoped the New York Knicks would lose to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night, forcing a Game 6 in the NBA Finals, so that no one would watch Summer House: The Aftermath, a bonus episode airing on Bravo on June 16.

That statement drew a sharp response from co-star Lindsay Hubbard. Hubbard wrote in one of a series of posts on Threads, “West Wilson: you are trash. Trying to get people to not watch OUR show that iiiii brought YOU on, you should move immediately.”

Per an insider, Wilson was allegedly not invited back for Season 11, but it does not appear he put up a fight.

Wilson’s departure comes before the Season 11 cast has been officially announced by Bravo. The season was renewed in May, and talks with the cast have been ongoing. Bravo’s VP of current production, Josh Brown, confirmed after the reunion concluded airing that the cast will be locked by end of June. Season 11 will film in early July.

Brown told The Hollywood Reporter, “We do not feel like this is a reboot situation at all. We feel like this is evolving.”

Bravo has yet to confirm which of Wilson’s costars, including Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Mia Calabrese, Jesse Solomon, Bailey Taylor, and Levi Sebree, will be returning for Season 11.

Wilson has yet to publicly address his departure.
