Country music star Jelly Roll has filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO, ending a marriage that began in Las Vegas in August 2016. The filing was made on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, according to court documents obtained by Billboard and first reported by TMZ.
Sources tell TMZ that the divorce was a mutual decision by the two and a private family matter. Neither party has issued a formal public statement regarding the split.
Jelly Roll, whose birth name is Jason Bradley Deford, filed for divorce from his wife, Alisa Andrea Deford. Bunnie XO is widely known as a model, podcast host, and social media personality.
The couple’s story began long before Jelly Roll became a household name. Jelly Roll met Bunnie in 2015 before he hit it big, but things did not turn romantic until the following year. The two walked down the aisle in Las Vegas in August 2016 and would have celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this coming August.

The marriage was not without its difficulties. Jelly Roll publicly acknowledged an affair in October 2025 on the Human School Podcast, calling it “one of the worst moments of his adulthood.” Bunnie XO addressed the revelation publicly, telling Fox News Digital: “When I found out about it, I was devastated. I was hurt because I didn’t think he would be the one person to do that. I thought he was different. And at that moment, my heart was broken. But instead of getting mad at him, I asked myself, ‘Why do I keep attracting these kinds of men?'”
Bunnie XO defended her decision to return to the marriage at the time, saying: “It actually takes a stronger woman to confront pain directly, put in the effort, and rebuild with the man she loves.”
Despite the turmoil, Bunnie XO spoke warmly about her husband as recently as earlier this year. In her memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, she wrote candidly about their shared struggles and offered this reflection to People: “When you are with somebody for a long time, you are going to have to love them at their lowest. And I truly believe that true love is not about so much as accepting things that you shouldn’t, but I do think that everybody deserves a second chance. Loving somebody at their lowest is one of the most beautiful things you can do, especially if they bloom and they blossom like my husband has.”

The couple had also been focused on growing their family. They had been planning to expand their family after starting their fertility journey back in 2019, and in February 2026, Bunnie XO shared on Instagram that she was hoping to have twins via surrogate. On her podcast “Dumb Blonde,” she addressed the challenges of that journey, saying: “If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. And if not, we can always adopt.”
Hours before the divorce news became public on June 15, Bunnie XO posted a cryptic message on her Instagram Story, writing “She’s getting her sparkle back” alongside a lingerie photo.
The last time the two were seen together publicly was during the Las Vegas stop of Jelly Roll’s tour in February, where they showed affection on the red carpet at the 2026 Grammy Awards. Jelly Roll also gave Bunnie XO a public shoutout on stage after winning the Grammy for Best Contemporary Country Album.

The couple renewed their vows in 2023 and recently attended Jelly Roll’s daughter’s prom together. He is also stepfather to Bunnie XO’s children.
The news breaks as Jelly Roll embarks on the 2026 leg of Post Malone‘s Big Ass Stadium Tour, having performed his first show of the run on June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina. No reason for the divorce has been officially disclosed.
Representatives for both Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have not responded to requests for comment.
