The track will feature on the tenth-anniversary special edition of Gaga's iconic second album Born This Way, which is set for release on June 25, 2021.

“Starstruck” singer Olly Alexander wrote to his Instagram followers about the renewed version, saying: “when @ladygaga asked me to remake her iconic track ‘Edge Of Glory' for Born This Way Reimagined, I said YES MOTHER and my paws flew into the atmosphere. I’m so happy I got to be a part of this, I hope you enjoy this version. I loved making it so much.”

In addition to the original album, the re-issue feature will six new versions of songs reimagined by artists representing and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community; including Kylie Minogue, Orville Peck, Big Freedia, and two more yet-to-be-announced artists.
