There was a lot of buzz for Zac Efron‘s new Netflix show Down to Earth with Zac Efron, in which Efron travels through scenic locations around the world with “superfood hunter” Darin Olien.
Together, the pair explore healthy and sustainable ways of living, although judging by the promotional pictures, they focused primarily on ones that would allow Efron to be shirtless for as long as possible.
The show premiered on Netflix on Friday (July 10, 2020) and there have been a lot of positive t the show reactions on Twitter, but most of the comments revolve around Zac’s new “daddy” look as opposed to learning about sustainable living.

Here is a sampling of the reactions:

The show does offer some intertesting insights into sustainable living and eating, but I could do with a few less comments like “sick,” “rad,” gnarly,” “wow,” “woah” and “bro.”
“We need to start rethinking how we consume everything, from our food to our power. Change has to start somewhere. Maybe it’s time we all change,” Zac said in a voiceover in the trailer. This mission led Zac to Iceland, Puerto Rico, France, London, Costa Rica, Sardinia, Lima and Iquitos!
