Candice Glover Wins ‘American Idol’

Candice Glover, from St. Helena Island, South Carolina won American Idol having received the most amount of votes, she has now been crowned the winner of season 12. Before Idol, Candice was an insecure person. She didn’t think she was all that beautiful as she struggled with her weight.

In an interview, she said she had to have counseling at school because of her insecurity problems. When Idol ends, Candice says she wants to be a guidance counselor to help girls through what she went through as a young adult.

Chris ‘Space Oddity’ Hadfield & Two Other ISS Astronauts Make Parachute Landing in Kazakhstan

I want to be an astronaut, but my fear of heights might get in the way.

Canadian ISS Commander Chris “Space Oddity” Hadfield is safely back on Earth with two other crew members from the International Space Station, American Thomas Marshburn and Russian Roman Romanenko.

[The spacemen] landed as planned south-east of the town of Dzhezkazgan at 8.31am local time on Tuesday. The Soyuz TMA-07M capsule slowly descended by parachute on to the steppes under clear, sunny skies. Russian search and rescue helicopters hovered over the landing site for a quick recovery effort.

Don’t cover up your pretty head Adam! I only wish that blue jacket Adam Lambert had over his head was a Snuggie because that would have automatically upped the cuteness factor of these pics.

Adam Lambert was not in the mood to be photographed as he departed a showing of The Great Gatsby with a friend at ArcLight Hollywood. The former American Idol sensation covered his face with a blue sweater the entire way back to the car and even kept covered while he got behind the wheel!
