Meghan McCain‘s being a Real Housewives super-fan is well known, but she’s had it with one of the franchises.
The conservative host of The View thinks there’s no juice left in The Real Housewives of Orange County. Meghan aired her thoughts on Jan. 28 after writer Evan Ross Katz tweeted, “It’s time to cancel RHOC.”
McCain replied, “Yes.”
This exchange caught the attention of Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen, who doesn’t want to put the squeeze on the show just yet.
“I think you mean reBOOT,” he said.
During the back-and-forth, Meghan said she had some “thoughts” about a reboot. She also pleaded for the return of a shuttered Housewives franchise.
“Since I have both of your attention and currently live in the beltway – please Reboot DC housewives PLEASE!” she begged. Andy echoed, “I loved RHDC.”

Seriously? Who really loved RHDC? I do have to say that I do miss Miami.
The cast members butted heads throughout the season, and made headlines for their comments off-screen. Braunwyn Windham-Burke came out as a lesbian in December, and Kelly Dodd has made controversial remarks about COVID-19 and wore a hat that was seen as insensitive toward the Black Lives Matter movement.

On an Instagram Live on Wednesday, Dodd said she would not film with Windham-Burke.
“I know for a fact that I cannot film with her,” she said. “There’s just no way, and if she comes back then I’m out because I know for a fact that I cannot. She’s dangerous and calling people racists and homophobic.”

Former OC housewife Tamra Judge, meanwhile, is all about the reboot — and seemingly ready to return following her departure after season 14.
