Gregg Maliff isn’t afraid to embrace the mystical. Following the release of his disco-infused White Album, the singer-songwriter is casting an even bigger spell with a collection of remixes for the fan-favorite track “White Witch,” along with the enchanting bonus songs “Moon Ritual” and “Dark Witch.” Blending infectious dance-pop with themes of transformation, resilience, and self-discovery, Gregg continues to carve out a musical world that’s entirely his own.
For this edition of the Socialite Seven, Gregg reveals the legendary artist at the top of his collaboration wish list, the unexpected albums currently on repeat, why healing is the ultimate superpower, and the life advice from his father that continues to guide him through every challenge. Along the way, he shares his love for Matt Bomer, his can’t-live-without essentials, and why creating music has always been about leaving people better than he found them.
Who (if anyone) would you love to collaborate with?
Madonna has always been at the top of my list. She’s a legend and has helped shape my career since the very beginning. I’d also love to collaborate with Milky Chance. There’s something about their sound and approach to songwriting that feels creatively aligned with where I am as an artist. I think we’d create something really special together. Madonna helped shape the soundtrack of my life, and Milky Chance represents the kind of creative direction I’d love to explore next.
What type of music or artist that you listen to frequently do you think your fans would be surprised to learn that you’re a fan of?
Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. I can already hear people saying, “Wait… what?” Taylor’s Reputation is honestly one of my favorite albums of all time. It’s raw, fearless, and completely unapologetic. “Look What You Made Me Do” is on constant repeat because we’ve all had those moments where life throws something at us and we decide we’re not staying down. I love that she turned criticism into art.
Then there’s The Weeknd. To me, he’s a production god. The level of detail, atmosphere, and emotion he builds into his records is incredible. I don’t just listen to his music—I study it. Sometimes I find myself rewinding a section just to figure out how they made it sound like that.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who don’t reach their potential. I believe every person has something unique to offer the world. We all have talents, experiences, and gifts that can make someone else’s life better. Even with neurological challenges that sometimes make everyday tasks more difficult, I still wake up wanting to create something positive. Imagine what our world could look like if everyone believed in themselves just a little more. We’d be unstoppable.
What superpower or talent would you like to wake up with tomorrow?
The power to heal. I’ve always believed that’s part of my purpose. Whether it’s through music, storytelling, or simply showing up for someone who needs it, I want to leave people a little better than I found them. If I could literally heal someone with a touch… sign me up. That would be the greatest gift imaginable.
What are three things you can’t live without?
My family. They remind me every day of who I am, where I came from, and where I’m going.
My phone. I know… that’s such a 2026 answer. But it’s my office, my recording studio, my camera, my notebook, my calendar, my GPS, and sometimes my therapist.
Music. I honestly can’t imagine a life without it. Music has carried me through my darkest moments and celebrated my brightest ones. It’s been there before people understood me, and it’ll probably be there long after I’m gone.

If they made a movie of your life story, who would you want to portray you on the big screen?
Matt Bomer. I mean… have you seen him? He’s sexy as hell! But seriously, he’s also an incredible actor. He has this ability to bring warmth, vulnerability, and authenticity to every role. My life has been full of unexpected twists, reinvention, laughter, loss, and resilience, and I think he’d capture all of those layers beautifully. Besides… if someone gets to play me, I’m certainly not going to complain if it’s Matt Bomer.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
“Stand up. Stand tall. Never back down.” Those words came from my father, and they’ve stayed with me my entire life. Whenever life gets difficult, I hear his voice reminding me to keep moving forward, believe in myself, and never let fear make my decisions. It’s advice that’s carried me through some of my hardest moments. I hope I’ve made him proud, and I hope I can pass that same strength on to someone else.
