Rape allegations are very difficult to deal with. From one perspective, the alleged victim’s story needs to be taken seriously so that a proper investigation can be done. On the other side of the discussion, the credibility and motives of the alleged victim may lead many to disbelieve the accusations.
As we reported, Chris Brown was accused of raping a young lady while in Paris, France. The alleged assault went down at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, and Brown was arrested and released by Parisian authorities in connection to the alleged assault.
The authorities have not charged Brown with anything, and the singer maintains that he is innocent.
