Christian Bale would play Batman again if Christopher Nolan asked him.
The 48-year-old actor â who played the Caped Crusader in the filmmakerâs âDark Knightâ trilogy â has admitted he would be open to reprising the iconic role if it was the right situation.
Asked if the offer has even come up from Warner Bros, he said: âNo, no, no. Nobody, nobody reaches out to me or they keep me like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me s***.
âFor me, that would be a matter of Chris Nolan, if he ever decided to do it again and if he chose to come my way again, then yeah, I would consider it because that was always our pact between each other is we would just stick to it.
âWe said we would only ever make three. And then I said to myself, and Iâd only ever make it with Chris.â
Bale â who appeared in âBatman Beginsâ, âThe Dark Knightâ and âThe Dark Knight Risesâ â recently admitted he still hasnât seen âThe Batmanâ, although he hailed Robert Pattinson as a âwonderful actorâ.
He previously hailed the starâs casting as the DC superhero as a âgood choiceâ.
The âThor: Love and Thunderâ star had one piece of advice when it comes to playing the comic book character, and it is the same tip he passed on to Ben Affleck when he took over the famous cape and cowl for the DC Extended Universe films âBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceâ, âSuicide Squadâ and âJustice Leagueâ.
Bale said: âOh, same as Ben, just be able to pee by yourself. You donât feel like a superhero when you arenât able to p*** by yourself!â
Previously sharing Baleâs bathroom woes, Affleck said: âLook mate, just make sure thereâs a zipper in that suit â I couldnât p*** for three movies in that suit!â
