Christian Bale would play Batman again if Christopher Nolan asked him.
The 48-year-old actor โ who played the Caped Crusader in the filmmakerโs โDark Knightโ trilogy โ has admitted he would be open to reprising the iconic role if it was the right situation.
Asked if the offer has even come up from Warner Bros, he said: โNo, no, no. Nobody, nobody reaches out to me or they keep me like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me s***.
โFor me, that would be a matter of Chris Nolan, if he ever decided to do it again and if he chose to come my way again, then yeah, I would consider it because that was always our pact between each other is we would just stick to it.
โWe said we would only ever make three. And then I said to myself, and Iโd only ever make it with Chris.โ
Bale โ who appeared in โBatman Beginsโ, โThe Dark Knightโ and โThe Dark Knight Risesโ โ recently admitted he still hasnโt seen โThe Batmanโ, although he hailed Robert Pattinson as a โwonderful actorโ.
He previously hailed the starโs casting as the DC superhero as a โgood choiceโ.
The โThor: Love and Thunderโ star had one piece of advice when it comes to playing the comic book character, and it is the same tip he passed on to Ben Affleck when he took over the famous cape and cowl for the DC Extended Universe films โBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceโ, โSuicide Squadโ and โJustice Leagueโ.
Bale said: โOh, same as Ben, just be able to pee by yourself. You donโt feel like a superhero when you arenโt able to p*** by yourself!โ
Previously sharing Baleโs bathroom woes, Affleck said: โLook mate, just make sure thereโs a zipper in that suit โ I couldnโt p*** for three movies in that suit!โ
