Christian Bale would play Batman again if Christopher Nolan asked him.

The 48-year-old actor โ€“ who played the Caped Crusader in the filmmakerโ€™s โ€˜Dark Knightโ€™ trilogy โ€“ has admitted he would be open to reprising the iconic role if it was the right situation.

Asked if the offer has even come up from Warner Bros, he said: โ€œNo, no, no. Nobody, nobody reaches out to me or they keep me like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me s***.

โ€œFor me, that would be a matter of Chris Nolan, if he ever decided to do it again and if he chose to come my way again, then yeah, I would consider it because that was always our pact between each other is we would just stick to it.

โ€œWe said we would only ever make three. And then I said to myself, and Iโ€™d only ever make it with Chris.โ€

Bale โ€“ who appeared in โ€˜Batman Beginsโ€™, โ€˜The Dark Knightโ€™ and โ€˜The Dark Knight Risesโ€™ โ€“ recently admitted he still hasnโ€™t seen โ€˜The Batmanโ€™, although he hailed Robert Pattinson as a โ€œwonderful actorโ€.

He previously hailed the starโ€™s casting as the DC superhero as a โ€œgood choiceโ€.

The โ€˜Thor: Love and Thunderโ€™ star had one piece of advice when it comes to playing the comic book character, and it is the same tip he passed on to Ben Affleck when he took over the famous cape and cowl for the DC Extended Universe films โ€˜Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceโ€™, โ€˜Suicide Squadโ€™ and โ€˜Justice Leagueโ€™.

Bale said: โ€œOh, same as Ben, just be able to pee by yourself. You donโ€™t feel like a superhero when you arenโ€™t able to p*** by yourself!โ€

Previously sharing Baleโ€™s bathroom woes, Affleck said: โ€œLook mate, just make sure thereโ€™s a zipper in that suit โ€“ I couldnโ€™t p*** for three movies in that suit!โ€
