The irony gods were working overtime in a Florida courtroom Friday.
Clavicular — the poster child for the looks-obsessed “looksmaxxing” subculture, where young men go to extreme measures to maximize their attractiveness — was sentenced to six months of probation for the apparent shooting of a dead alligator in the Florida Everglades during a livestream.
But nobody was really talking about the gator.
The influencer, famous for flexing his appearance online, showed up for the court hearing — but people barely cared about the charges once Judge Marcus of Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court walked into frame with icy blue eyes, slicked-back hair, and a jawline sharp enough to cut glass.
The internet, naturally, lost its collective mind.
“I enjoy the irony of Clavicular, the supposed number one ‘looksmaxxer,’ being absolutely mogged by the judge in his Miami case,” wrote one user on X.

Another user joked that the creator must be “leaking cortisol” for being mogged by someone with a “real job,” writing, “Getting mogged that hard by someone with a real job must have had him LEAKING cortisol.”
As for the actual legal drama: Clavicular’s attorney, Jeffrey Neiman, said his client “accepted responsibility for his conduct and reached a resolution that appropriately reflects the circumstances of this incident,” adding that “no individual was injured, and the alligator involved was already deceased prior to the events at issue.”
Per the deal, Clav will keep his nose clean for six months, complete a firearm safety course, and finish 20 hours of community service, which he cannot monetize.

As memes comparing Braden Peters (aka Clavicular) to Judge Marcus flooded social media, his “looksmaxxing” fans struck back by posting side-by-side diagrams of their facial symmetry to supposedly prove Peters’s aesthetic superiority.
It didn’t land the way they hoped.
“The ongoing bit of the universe pitting Clavicular against extremely handsome antagonists is so goddamn funny dude,” @coney wrote on X.

When asked about speculation that the judge was hand-selected by Clav’s attorney, a source said Jeffrey is good — but not that good.
The gator, for the record, was already dead. Clavacular’s ego may not be so lucky.
