Erika Jayne and her ongoing legal battles amid her divorce from Tom Girardi will be documented in an upcoming ABC News Originals documentary.
Offering a sneak peek at the project, which is titled The Housewife and the Hustler, ABC unveiled the teaser for the special.
In the teaser, various legal experts who accuse the high-profile L.A. attorney of embezzlement can be seen sharing their two cents on the scandals surrounding the former couple. “Tom Girardi was L.A. law – so powerful,” one legal expert says in the teaser.
Echoing the sentiment, another person comments, “They were just blowing money left and right, but then….” Actress and comedian Heather McDonalds also shares her opinion on the matter, posing a question about Erika, “I think the biggest question is: Did she know?”

The Housewife and the Hustler is set to begin streaming exclusively on Hulu on June 14, 2021. The special will also feature voicemail messages, court records and a never-before-aired deposition tape of Tom.
Jayne and Girardi were married for over two decades before the reality star filed for divorce in November. She did not specify an exact reason for their split but is set to talk about their crumbling marriage on Season 11 of RHOBH, which is currently airing.
Shortly after Jayne filed for divorce, the couple was sued by Edelson PC, a class-action firm, on behalf of a number of Boeing plane crash victims for allegedly embezzling settlement funds meant to help the victims of Lion Air Flight 610.
“While Erika publicly filed for divorce this month, on information and belief, that ‘divorce’ is simply a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom’s and Erika’s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm GK,” the lawsuit alleged.
