The brand’s founder, Alexandra Fuente, bootstrapped the company in response to her own frustrations with the limited options on the market (most of which were designed by men and overly sexualized). She wore men's boxer briefs for a while, but she was determined to find something better–and that’s how Woxer was born.
During the last week of June, the Woxer team will be traveling from Miami to NYC in support of local LBTQ+ organizations. Woxer will be donating over $9,000 worth of products to each of the five groups in Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Wilmington, NC and Philadelphia. Each organization will receive 400 pairs of underwear for 2,000 total pairs donated. Here are the tour stops (with links for you to donate to these incredible organizations):
Miami – Monday 6/24 visiting and donating to Pridelines, Miami's only LGBTQ Community Center.
Orlando – Tuesday, 6/25 visiting and donating to Out of the Closet, a thrift store founded to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
Atlanta – Wednesday, 6/26, visiting and donating to Lost n Found Youth, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that provides services to LGBTQ+ Youth experiencing homelessness.
Wilmington – Thursday, 6/27 visiting and donating to LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast, a Wilmington-based organization to serve LGBTQ+ elders, youth, and everyone in between.
Philadelphia – Friday, 6/28, visiting and donating to Galaei, a Philadelphia-based organization that provides services, support, and advocacy for all QTBIPOC communities.
NYC – Saturday & Sunday, 6/29-6/30 for the Pride Parade on 6/30.
