George Clooney is looking back on his Hollywood journey and shared that heโs not keen on collaborating with David O. Russell again.
In a conversation with Brad Pitt, the two stars discussed โtime managementโ and wisely choosing their work partners.
โThe older you get, time allotment is very different,โ Clooney told GQ. โFive months out of your life is a lot.โ

Russell isnโt someone Clooney wants to spend five months filming with anymore.
โAnd so itโs not just like, โOh, Iโm going to go do a really good film, like Three Kings, and Iโm going to have a miserable f*** like David O Russell making my life hell. Making every person in the crewโs life hell,'โ Clooney added. โItโs not worth it. Not at this point in my life. Just to have a good product.โ

Three Kings is a 1999 war comedy film penned and helmed by O. Russell. It featured George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, Ice Cube, and Spike Jonze. The movie is inspired by John Ridleyโs story about four American soldiers on a gold theft during the 1991 Iraqi uprisings against Saddam Hussein after the First Gulf War.
Clooney has discussed his time on the movie set and his clash with Russell. Tensions rose when the director allegedly got physical with an extra, and The Washington Post reported that Clooney stepped in to help.

In a 2005 chat with EW, Clooney described Russell as โa weirdo, and heโs hard to talk to,โ adding, โbut thatโs what makes his writing unique and interesting.โ
