Fans of The Witcher series are getting their first glimpse of Liam Hemsworth portraying Geralt of Rivia in the highly anticipated fourth season. Hemsworth takes over the iconic role previously played by Henry Cavill for the first three seasons—an image featuring both actors side-by-side as Geralt showcases the transition. Additionally, first-look footage has been released, offering a preview of what’s to come.
Production for Season 4 is currently underway in the UK. Following earlier announcements, it has been confirmed that Season 4 will be filmed back-to-back with the fifth and final season. These last two seasons will complete the adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s beloved books, with Hemsworth stepping into the role of Geralt for both.
Season 4 picks up after the dramatic, Continent-altering events of Season 3’s finale. The story will follow Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri as they navigate a war-torn Continent filled with new challenges and separate paths. As they grapple with being apart, they must lead the groups of misfits they encounter through a baptism of fire, hoping to survive and reunite.
