Gwyneth Paltrow had a hard time staying healthy in lockdown, as the Goop founder admitted that she was drinking (well, quinoa whiskey) every night during quarantine. And ate bread.

“I drank alcohol during quarantine,” Paltrow told The Mirror. “I was drinking seven nights a week and making pasta and eating bread. I went totally off the rails. I mean, who drinks multiple drinks seven nights a week? Like, that’s not healthy.”

Whiskey was revealed to be the wellness entrepreneur’s drink of choice, though even when she was indulging, Paltrow managed to stay extremely on-brand by drinking quinoa whiskey.

“I love whiskey and I make this fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow, which I named after my grandfather who loved whiskey sours,” Paltrow explained. “And it’s this great quinoa whiskey from this distillery in Tennessee with maple syrup and lemon juice. It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine.”

Not long after the article when online, the comment blew up in her face as many lambasted her for referring to a normal experience for adults as “going off the rails.”

One fan called her out, saying: “Everybody, please let’s have a moment of silence. Things got really bad for Gwyneth Paltrow during quarantine. She broke down and ate bread. I know, I know … tragic.”
