Holmes and Watson, The Happytime Murders and Gotti Lead Razzie Nominations

The nominations are out for the 39th annual Golden Raspberry Awards aka The Razzies, which “celebrates” the very worst films Hollywood has to offer, has released this year's list of nominations.

Leading the critically reviled charge this year, with six nominations each, are the John Travolta crime drama Gotti, Will Ferrell/John C. Reilly team-up Holmes & Watson, Dinesh D’Souza’s conservative-leaning Death of a Nation and the Melissa McCarthy comedy The Happytime Murders.

The winners will be announced February 23, 2019, the day before the Academy Awards hands out its honors for cinema's finest.

Donald Trump and Melania Trump have been nominated as well.

Trump, who appeared in Death Of A Nation and Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9, is nominated for worst actor.

First Lady Melania Trump was also nominated for worst supporting actress for her “performance” in Fahrenheit 11/9.
