Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters continues this summer with Morbius, a feature film starring Jared Leto that centers on the titular living vampire.
Joining Jared Leto in the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off is Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson as Simon Stroud, an FBI agent tasked with hunting down Morbius.
Sony released a new Morbius trailer that further hinted at the film being set in the MCU by featuring a surprise appearance by Michael Keaton, who seemingly reprised his role as Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Synopsis:
One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
