Color me intrigued. Keanu Reeves may finally get his opportunity to star in a superhero movie, despite arguably being a superhero in most of the roles he plays.

According to MCU Cosmic, Reeves is currently in the early stages of talks with Marvel Studios for a part in The Eternals.

The report does not detail which role he could be set to play in the movie nor anything further about the move other than the little we already know.

It is also best to treat this as an extreme rumor for now until it gets officially announced by the studio or Reeves himself.

A number of actors have reportedly joined the project, including Angelina Jolie signing on for a lead role (rumored to be Sersi), and Kumail Nanjiani, South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok and Richard Madden (rumored for Ikaris) in yet-to-be-confirmed roles.

In other Keanu Reeves news, there was a story going around the internet the other day that John Wick star was lonely, desperate for a partner.

Malaysia’s Star2.com (allegedly) interviewed Reeves recently where he (allegedly) told them that he is lonely.

Allegedly asked about his romantic life, Reeves responded by saying he was single. “You know, I’m the lonely guy,” he was reported to have said. “I don’t have anyone in my life. But if it does occur, I would respect and love the other person; hopefully it’ll happen for me.”

The interview has since picked up major traction, making headlines all around the world (even we reported it).

But according to Keanu’s publicist, the actor simply “did not” give the interview to Star2.com.

“This interview did not happen,” the spokeswoman said. “This was pieced together from several interviews and the majority of these questions were not asked nor answered. They are fabricated.”

So consider this The Eternals news a rumor until confirmed.
