Kid Rock Slams Taylor Swift for Being a Democrat, Implies She Slept Her Way Through Hollywood

The uber icky has-been Kid Rock has taken aim at pop superstar Taylor Swift in a bizarre and sexist tweet on Friday, claiming Swift “wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period.”
He added an offensive remark that she will sleep her way through Hollywood.
Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.

The musician, a noted supporter of Donald Trump, received an onslaught of backlash for his comments, with many people not taking kindly to his words about the pop star.
I’m so mad at Kid Rock that I’m going to go in my attic and find his latest cassette from 1996 and throw it out.

Literally any rock is better than Kid Rock. Fraggle Rock, Jailhouse Rock, the Rock, Chris Rock, a small rock that flew up from the road and cracked my windshield.

Who knows what upset the aging “rock star,” but Swift made headlines Thursday for talking politics in Vogue.
She was criticized during the 2016 presidential for keeping her stance private, although it was believed she supported Hillary Clinton.
Swift, who is now vocally not a fan of President Donald Trump’s, said she felt like she couldn’t publicly support Hillary Clinton because she was afraid it’d do more harm than good.

“Unfortunately in the 2016 election you had a political opponent who was weaponizing the idea of the celebrity endorsement,” she said, without dropping Trump’s name explicitly. “He was going around saying, I’m a man of the people. I’m for you. I care about you. I just knew I wasn’t going to help.”
Swift also thought about the parallels between her and Clinton’s public images, since her endorsement would have been in the aftermath of that Snapchat scandal when people weren’t too impressed with her.
“You know, the summer before that election, all people were saying was She’s calculated. She’s manipulative. She’s not what she seems. She’s a snake. She’s a liar. These are the same exact insults people were hurling at Hillary,” Swift said.

“Would I be an endorsement or would I be a liability? Look, snakes of a feather flock together. Look, the two lying women. The two nasty women. Literally millions of people were telling me to disappear. So I disappeared. In many senses.”
Despite dipping her toes in and out of acting, Swift maintained in Vogue that her primary focus is on her main craft.
“I really love my job right now,” she said. “My focus is on music.”
