365 Days Star Michele Morrone

365 Days star Michele Morrone has landed a lucrative new deal as the face of fashion brand Guess.

Label co-founder Paul Marciano has become a big fan of the Italian actor after watching his breakthrough Netflix film and recently flew the former gardener out to his home in Switzerland to discuss the potential modeling gig.

The meeting was captured in an Instagram post.

TMZ reports a six-figure menswear deal was signed hours after they met, with Morrone set to shoot a pair of holiday campaigns for Guess by Marciano and the fashion designer’s other namesake company, Marciano, in Lake Como, Italy, next week.

Michele’s told Marciano that before his big movie break, he was making $600 a month as a gardener and was prepared to go back to the low-paying job if needed.

Morrone rose to global stardom last month with the Netflix release of the controversial 365 Days, also known as 365 DNI, in which he plays a mafia boss who kidnaps his dream woman and forces her to live and travel with him for a year, convinced that she’ll eventually fall in love with him.

The erotic romantic drama is based on the first novel of a trilogy by Polish author Blanka Lipinska but has faced major online backlash for glorifying kidnapping and rape.

As for the modeling gig, judging by Morrone’s Instagram feed, he is definitely up for the task.
