NeNe Leakes recently revealed on an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she wanted to go âhead to headâ with Lisa Rinna but she got her Lisaâs mixed up and really meant to say Lisa Vanderpump.
NeNe claimed on the February 01, 2019 episode of Jenny McCarthyâs SiriusXM show. âShe knows that we have a little something, something she did to me. Iâve never really addressed it. ⊠She did some real foul shit to me.â
McCarthy pressed Leaks to talk about her beef with Vanderpump.
NeNe revealed that she wanted to buy the space on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood where Vanderpump now has her successful bar/restaurant PUMP.
âAt the time, Greg [Leakes] and I were living in [Los Angeles] and I was working on Glee and New Normal,â NeNe told Jenny. âWe ride down that West Hollywood area where all the gay bars are â and I have a large gay fanbase â and I kept thinking, âIt would be so cool if I had a bar right in here somewhere.â And that space was empty and kind of raggedy-looking and torn down.â
NeNe says she called Vanderpump, who was already a successful restauranteur with her West Hollywood restaurants SUR and Villa Blanca, to get her advice on the space and opening up a bar.
âShe said, âOh darling, darling, itâs a piece of crap and theyâre charging so much for it, darling,'â Leakes said. âShe talked me off of it and then went and got it. ⊠Thatâs so fucked up.â
PUMP opened in 2014 and was heavily featured on season 3 of LVPâs spinoff show Vanderpump Rules.
âNow when she sees me, she has this little dog that doesnât even crawl and sheâs like, âHi NeNe,'â the RHOA star explained. âShe just looks at me funny. ⊠Weâre gonna get Lisa Vanderpump. Lisa Rinna, Iâm sorry I didnât mean you, I meant Vander-lump.â
A few things⊠NeNe has never run a club, so it would most likely have failed. Plus, Lisa probably had her eye on the property already. And âVander-lump?â Grow up, girl.
