Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek says he wasn’t aware of the past sexual misconduct allegations against director Bryan Singer when he joined the film.

“I didn’t know much about Bryan,” Malek told The Los Angeles Times. “I think that the allegations and things were, believe it or not, honestly something I was not aware of, and that is what it is.”

Singer was accused of sexual misconduct involving a minor in two separate lawsuits in 2014. Singer denied the accusations, and both suits were ultimately dismissed voluntarily. — The Los Angeles Times
