Wednesday night (January 30, 2019), Kim Kardashian West posted a series of photos with Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Pete Davidson and Timothée Chalamet hanging out. The looked to be having a great time.

Why on earth were they hanging out? Apparently, to help celebrate Kid Cudi’s birthday.

Supposedly, Cudi and Chalamet are fans of each other, as shown in their adoring tweets.

E! News reports that the group “all seemed to get along really well and had a nice time together. It was a mellow night and the group mostly hung out and talked.”

What makes this dinner party super bizarre was the fact that Pete Davidson was there.

Davidson majorly dissed West’s surprise pro-Trump rant last September at the end of Saturday Night Live.

“Speaking strictly for myself, what Kanye said after we went off the air last week was one of the worst, most awkward things I’ve ever seen here, and I’ve seen Chevy Chase speak to an intern,” Davidson said during the Weekend Update segment while sporting a “Make Kanye 2006 Again” cap.

“He wore it all week,” Davidson continued about the MAGA hat. “Nobody told him not to wear it. I wish I bullied you. I wish I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife or every black person ever.”

The two have seemingly made up.

This most likely happened after Davidson defended West after he criticized the comedian’s ex, Ariana Grande, 25, for a joke she made regarding West’s feud with Drake — which West claimed made light of his mental health.

“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health,” Davidson, who has previously spoken about the negative effects bullying has on his illness, wrote in a since-deleted Instagram.

Regardless, this was still one bizarre dinner party.
