Quick Drag: Bob the Drag Queen Proves Reading is Fundamental with a New Book

Is there nothing Bob the Drag Queen can’t do? The season eight winner starred on three seasons of We’re Here, joined Madonna on her international Celebration Tour, launched the cosmetics company BOMO Beauty with Monét X Change (and don’t forget their Sibling Rivalry podcast), started his own unique clothing line House of Bob, released his debut EP ‘Gay Barz’, and dropped his latest comedy special “Woke Man In a Dress” on YouTube and streaming services.

Bob can now add author to his list of accomplishments. His forthcoming debut novel Harriet Tubman: Live In Concert is an inventive, wondrous tale about American hero Harriet Tubman that remixes history into a fresh, dynamic novel about love, freedom, salvation, and hip-hop. The historical icon calls upon a once successful record producer to help her create a legendary album she can take on the road to tell her story.

Harriet Tubman: Live In Concert drops on March 25th and Bob is embarking on a book tour in support of it, with stops in New York CityBaltimoreSt. LouisAtlanta, and Los Angeles, kicking off on the book’s release date. If you can’t make a show, you can order a signed copy here.
