There is some major turmoil amongst The Real Housewives of New York City cast as Ramona Singer has reportedly been fired from the cast (which she denies) and in turn, is refusing to participate in the Season 13 reunion show.

Other outlets are reporting that the reunion has been canceled, but that is just not true. The show has done reunions without one of the cast members being present (Lisa Vanderpump on RHOBH and Luann de Lesseps on RHONY).

This season has not been an easy one for the franchise as the ratings have dipped as fans have expressed their dismay over the “boring” season.

Last week’s episode was the lowest-rated one ever, according to the Daily Mail, with 764,000 live viewers.

The decline in viewership comes as some fans expressed via Twitter that they aren’t happy with the season for a multitude of reasons — including accusations that newbie Eboni K. Williams can come off as “preachy” as she tries to educate her co-stars on issues related to race.

While Williams can come off as preachy, the storyline on the series is crafted and driven by the producers, and the producers chose to focus on race.

Williams rightfully told TMZ that she shouldn't be the scapegoat for a declining TV audience just because she doesn't make final cut decisions about what ends up airing … but the producers do.
