Despite earlier reports that actress Tanya Roberts had died, it turns out that she is still alive.
TMZ reported yesterday (Jan. 03, 2021) that according to her agent, Tanya died on Sunday after being hospitalized when she collapsed by her Los Angeles home on Christmas Eve.
Tanya was out walking her dogs on Christmas Eve when she collapsed. She was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai hospital where she later died. She was hospitalized and put on a ventilator, but never recovered. Although her cause of death has not been released, it was confirmed that it was not caused by COVID-19.
Tanya is survived by her sister Barbara and her long-time partner Lance O’Brien. Lance, her partner of 18 years, was able to be with her in the moments before.
TMZ even got a quote from the rep from Tanya's husband, Lance, saying, “As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes.”
However, Roberts' rep, Mike Pingel, tells TMZ, Lance got a call just after 10 AM Monday from the hospital saying Tanya was still alive. Pingel said Lance truly believed Tanya had died.
Interestingly, friends of the family also contacted TMZ Sunday saying Lance had called them to inform them of the That '70s Show star's death.
Stay tuned.
