Whispers are swirling about Tom Cruise‘s potential show-stopper at the Paris Olympics closing event.

TMZ hints Cruise might pull off a jaw-dropping stunt, symbolically handing over the Olympic torch to Los Angeles for the 2028 Games!

Insiders told the outlet that Cruise’s spectacle is planned for Stade de France. The TV feed will then switch to a pre-recorded clip showing Cruise airborne with the Olympic flag, parachuting towards the iconic Hollywood sign.

Back in March, Tom was spotted climbing the Hollywood sign, but no one caught him mid-air. At the time, its Olympic connection was a mystery. In footage TMZ got hold of, Cruise was seen passing the flag to an athlete on a bike.

The outlet says the nitty-gritty of Tom’s August 11 Paris stunt is still in the works.

This wouldn’t be Cruise’s first Olympic rodeo! In 2004, he carried the torch in Los Angeles during a worldwide relay for the Athens Summer Olympics.
