Actor Will Smith is getting real with his fans in a new Instagram post.
Sharing a picture of himself in an open shirt, shorts and slippers, he unabashedly announces that he’s physically in “the worst shape” of his life, thanks to COVID.
The 52-year-old Men in Black star posted the picture to his 57 million fans on Sunday (May. 02, 2021), writing: “I’m gonna be real wit yall – I’m in the worst shape of my life.”
The star posted the caption alongside an image of himself wearing nothing but his underwear and an unzipped top. Smith left little to the imagination – showing off his “dad bod” in all its glory.
The picture has been liked more than three million times and attracted more than 50,000 comments.
“You’re Will Smith!! You can be in whatever shape you want,” one fan wrote. “This is the most amazing post in the history of social media,” said another. “Let me be real with you. You’re 52. You look great,” another fan observed.

One fan wasn’t afraid to congratulate Smith on his “dad bod.” “Man! You have been in shape your whole life,” they wrote. “Enjoy the dad bod with pride! Let’s end the carbs discrimination.”
Smith is thought to be gearing up to begin filming Emancipation. The story sees Smith portraying Whipped Peter, an enslaved person who emancipated himself from a Southern plantation and joined the Union Army.
