Actor Zac Efron and Park Cityโ€™s Kodiak Cakes have teamed up and unveiled their latest product offering.

The acclaimed actor, known for High School Musical and recently A Family Affair, is spearheading the launch of a distinctive apple brown sugar pecan oatmeal. The company announced Tuesday that this limited-edition offering will retail at $5.98, each package containing six servings of instant oatmeal.

Efron, who became chief brand officer in 2022, enhanced the recipe by incorporating his preferred ingredients: chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and cranberry seeds.

โ€œDeveloping this oatmeal with Kodiak was such a fun experience,โ€ Efron said. โ€œMy goal was to create an oatmeal thatโ€™s really delicious, and really good for you โ€” so with less sugar and more nutritious ingredients.โ€

The nutritional profile boasts 14 grams of protein, prebiotic fiber, and 100% whole-grain oatmeal, according to company specifications. Preparation options include microwaving with water or steeping in hot water.

โ€œI think we nailed it, and Iโ€™m so excited for people to try it. And Iโ€™m extremely grateful that Kodiak has decided to donate a portion of every sale towards a cause thatโ€™s important to me โ€” wildlife preservation,โ€ Efron said.

The actor has joined forces with Kodiak for their yearly โ€œKeep It Wildโ€ initiative, collaborating with outdoor brands to create products benefiting the Vital Ground Foundation. The company revealed that this particular launch will support multiple non-profit organizations.

โ€œWe are so excited to be launching this limited-edition apple brown sugar pecan oatmeal with Zac,โ€ said Chief Marketing Officer Cory Bayers. โ€œPacked with protein and nutrient-dense ingredients, this oatmeal inspires consumers to get out and live epic adventures in the great outdoors. It also ties back to one of our core values of giving back, ensuring todayโ€™s youth enjoys tomorrowโ€™s wild places.โ€

Consumers can exclusively purchase the oatmeal at Walmart locations or through Walmart.com while inventory remains available.
