We can’t cover everything. Between the breakups, the red carpets, the cryptic Instagram Stories, and whatever Washington decided to do this week, some stories slip past us — and a few of them were too good to let disappear into the timeline. So every week we’re rounding up the ten stories we didn’t get to, with links straight to the folks who did. Consider it your catch-up cheat sheet.

Click through, get caught up, and act as you knew all along.

Check Out the 10 Things We Didn’t Get to This Past Week

1. Country singer Zach Bryan wore a “Free Palestine” shirt during his concert at Robert Kraft’s Gillette Stadium Friday night, just one month after the Jewish NFL owner barred Macklemore over his anti-Israel rant. [Billboard]
2. The FlyDubai 737 MAX that almost crashed on Wednesday plummeted three miles in less than a minute and came so close to breaking the sound barrier that aerodynamic forces ripped off part of the plane’s rudder. In about a minute, the plane would have hit the desert 250 miles southeast of Tel Aviv. Instead, passengers subdued the attacker, while two pilots in the passenger cabin regained control and landed the plane safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. [Intelligencer]
3. Tom Ford‘s Haider Ackermann wants the men’s thong to be a thing. Provocatively paired with fine turtleneck jumpers, sheer socks and polished loafers, they became less underwear and more styling proposition. Kinky, certainly, but always underpinned by refinement. [Attitude]
4. Fiona Lowe, the daughter of actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter, has died, the family announced. She was 13. [NBC News]
5. Many members of the original Glee cast reportedly aren’t keen to sign on to Ryan Murphy’s reboot of the series, thanks to lingering bad blood between the creator and his former stars. [Pajiba]

6. Paul Anthony Kelly on bringing John F. Kennedy Jr. to life in Love Story, joining American Horror Story, and redefining the modern gentleman. [Kenneth in the 212]
7. Jay Vinnedge sashayed his way into The Traitors: New Blood, leaving viewers scratching their heads when they found out he’s straight. [OUT]
8. Milan Fashion Week’s Front Rows were seemingly more star-studded than usual. [Go Fug Yourself]
9. Heated Rivalry executive producers Jacob Tierney and Brendan Brady have launched the Irina Foundation through their production company, Accent Aigu Entertainment. Inspired by the foundation their beloved hockey players establish in Rachel Reid’s Game Changers universe, the real-world fund will support LGBTQIA2S+ and underserved communities through sports and the arts. [Deadline]
10. After unloading his AI firm on Netflix earlier this year, Ben Affleck is showcasing the tech in action with his latest project. The 2x Oscar winner recently revealed that he “did use” artificial intelligence “for lots of things” in making Animals, which he co-wrote, directed, and starred in. The film premieres Oct. 9 in select theaters and on Netflix. [Celebitchy]
