We feel you, Alec Baldwin. It seems as if the days of playing President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live may be over.
Baldwin told USA Today that he is โso doneโ with the role that won him an Emmy in 2017.
โI canโt imagine I would do it again. I just canโt. They should find somebody who wants to do it,โ Baldwin said.

He added that he worked minimally over the past year to be with his wife and new son. But he says heโs planning to take on more projects during the week now, so he wants his weekends back.
โSNL just crushes my weekends, and now weekends are going to become much more precious to me because thatโs time with my kids,โ Baldwin said.
Who could be possible replacements? Baldwin suggested SNL announcer Darrell Hammond take the role, as he did when he was a former cast member.

The actor has expressed frustration with the role in the past; previously, he complained that he felt Trumpโs criticism of his portrayal could become a threat to his familyโs safety.
In 2017, Baldwin said on Extra that he wasnโt planning to do the impression โmuch longer.โ
