Glen Powell is setting the record straight about those Mission Impossible rumors. The 36-year-old heartthrob has playfully dismissed speculation that he’s next in line to take over (and potentially leap off skyscrapers) if Tom Cruise ever steps away from the action-packed franchise.
“My mom would never let me do that,” Glen joked to sports analyst Pat McAfee on Nov. 12. “That’s a death trap.”
Tom, 62, has been embodying Ethan Hunt—the daredevil government agent famous for his jaw-dropping stunts—since the series kicked off in 1996.
