I will be honest, I have no idea, and frankly really care, who Lil Xan is, but this is such a ridiculous story I had to post.
On Monday, rapper Lil Xan, whose real name is Diego Leanos, announced he was recovering from a trip to the hospital. He had overdosed — on Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
.
“Yeah, I went to the hospital today,” he says in the video, showing off an apparent hospital wristband. “Getting ready to pack for this tour. I just want to let everybody know that I was in the hospital for not due to any drugs, but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and it ripped something in my stomach open a little bit and I puked a little blood. So we good.”
This apparently has not been a great year for the rapper. Three weeks ago, he cut ties with Noah Cyrus, his girlfriend of one month after she sent him an X-rated meme; he accused her of cheating on him. Later, he recorded himself urinating on a plaque for his platinum record for his song, “Betrayed.” In May, he keyed his own Mercedes SUV and called himself a “slave” to his management.
Xan will kick off a fall tour in New York tomorrow night. Good luck with that.
