David Crowe, a 33-year-old man from Seattle, has been arrested twice in less than 48 hours after being caught stalking Taylor Swift outside her Manhattan home. The police charged him with two counts of stalking and two counts of harassment on Monday (Jan. 22, 2024).

According to reports, a neighbor and a security guard had spotted Crowe near Swift’s residence, leading to his first arrest. On Saturday (Jan. 20, 2024), security personnel called the police after he attempted to enter the pop star’s residence. However, when the officers ran his name in the police records, they discovered he had two outstanding arrest warrants from 2017.

One was for an open container, and the other was for disorderly conduct in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. Crowe was subsequently arrested for those warrants but not for trying to enter Swift’s home.

On Monday around 6 pm, Mr. Crowe returned to Ms. Swift’s building, where a neighbor and a member of the singer’s security team saw him and called 911. According to the police, he was acting erratically.

Crowe’s arraignment on the stalking and harassment charges was still pending, according to a spokesman for the Manhattan district attorney.
