Anne Hathaway is not here for the trolls.
The Oscar winner, who’s expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, had a cheeky response ready after fans questioned whether her baby bump was actually real.
Hathaway stepped out Sunday for the premiere of The End of Oak Street in Burbank, California, wearing a light blue cropped top that showed off her growing belly. She paired the look with low-rise jeans and red kitten heels.
The internet, naturally, had thoughts.
“I’m sorry but that looks fake,” one TikTok user commented on a video from the red carpet. “That was my immediate reaction too,” another chimed in.
Hathaway didn’t let the chatter slide.
On Monday, she shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram video of herself getting ready for the premiere, captioning it with a pointed dig at the doubters.
“Fake hair, real bump,” she wrote.
She kept the energy going in the caption, joking about the sweltering conditions at the event. “Enjoy The @endofoakstreet Block Party chaos with me as my outfit literally melts in the heat!!” she added.
Pregnancy, it seems, hasn’t slowed her sense of humor — or her style. Hathaway told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet that dressing for the bump has been a blast.
“Really really fun,” she said of maternity fashion. As for the belly itself, she added, “It doesn’t last forever, so we’re just enjoying every moment.”
This will be baby No. 3 for Hathaway and Shulman, who tied the knot in 2012 and already share sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6. The couple announced the pregnancy back in June with an Instagram post that doubled as a nod to her fertility journey.
“It’s not for a movie…#2,” Hathaway captioned the black-and-white photo at the time.
She got candid in the same post about the road to growing her family, writing that it “was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies” and sending love to others “going through infertility and conception hell.”
Hathaway has since opened up further about how surprised she was to learn she was expecting again at 43. She told Access Hollywood that the odds hadn’t felt in her favor.
“When you get to a certain age, that hope looks like 1 percent to 2 percent,” she admitted.
Trolls or no trolls, the actress seems entirely unbothered — bump, fake hair and all.
