Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and Kaia Gerber have broken their silence nearly one month after losing Presley Gerber.
“We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother,” the family stated in a joint message.
Presley passed away on September 20 at age 27 inside a Santa Monica treatment facility. Authorities continue to investigate the incident as a suspected overdose, while an official cause of death remains pending.
“We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years,” the family shared. “He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever.”

Crawford and Rande highlighted their son’s honesty amid his public personal battles. “We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability,” they wrote.
The couple also thanked the public for the support surrounding their loss. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain,” the statement noted.
They closed the message directly to Presley. “Til we meet again our sweet boy,” they wrote. “We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia.”
Kaia shared her own separate eulogy alongside footage of the siblings dancing together during childhood. “I am, quite literally, down on my f***ing knees,” the 25-year-old wrote.
“You know how much I loved being your sister,” Kaia continued. “It has always been, and will forever be, my favorite thing about myself.”
The model described Presley as her “ultimate teacher” throughout life. “Now I’m left wondering what I could possibly be taught in your absence,” she confessed.
Kaia addressed the innate bond between them. “To say loving you was the easiest thing in the world would imply that it required any effort at all,” she noted. “I was born loving you, I will die loving you. There was never anything else.”

She acknowledged the lifelong weight of her grief. “I would walk knowingly toward this grief if it meant that on the other side of it I got to be your sister,” Kaia wrote.
Presley had candidly documented his recovery efforts months earlier. “I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, I started finding my way back to myself,” he shared in March.
Kaia ended her tribute confronting the immediate void left behind. “I love my brother,” she posted. “My brother is dead. And this party sucks so bad without you, prez.”
