RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6: Which All Star was the belle of the (Blue) Ball?

602 – “The Blue Ball”

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars fans were treated to not one, but two episodes this week.

After the variety extravaganza gave us a chance to see their talent, their charisma and uniqueness was put on display as the queens hit the runway for the inaugural Blue Ball. This means we got to see 36 looks.

The queens had to showcase three different looks: “Blue Betta Werk”, a blue collar, working girl look, “Blue Jean Baby”, a look that takes denim to the next level and lastly, “Blue Ball Bonanza”, where the queens have to create from scratch – and from a massive mountain of various blue materials – a high fashion look. So, who were the tops and bottoms of the ball?

First up, here are our “Blue Betta Werk” favorites. Pandora Boxx served up some lunch lady realness with a reveal that was the icing on the cake.

A’Keria C Davenport was the world’s worst welder, but looked amazing.

Scarlet Envy gave us wood in her logging-inspired look, complete with saw blade accessories.

As for the denim. Looks, Pandora once again won us over with her Dolly Parton look, complete with enormous hair and a teeny, tiny cowboy hat.

Scarlet brought the fireworks with her patriotic red, white and blue look.

Are you ready for a geometric Jantasy?

Eureka O’Hara went to the dark side with a dark denim duster.

Ru was visibly pleased with Sonique’s Christina Aguilera-inspired look consisting of low-rise jeans, a bandana top, and a nod to the trans flag. And yes, I am jealous of her boogie – and her body.

Ra’Jah O’Hara rocked a fedora and a look I could actually see myself wearing.

The queens excelled with their Blue Ball Bonanza looks. Once again, Pandora gave us a true  blue ribbon look, topped with a mountain of blue curls. Do. Not. Sleep. On Pandora.

A’Keria used plastic cups to create a stunning silhouette.

Scarlet was a glittering goddess in a gown that oozed elegance.

Jan gave us a floral fantasy, inspired by her Bag Ball look.

Sonique had us seeing stars (once again.)

I’m glad I didn’t have to judge this runway, because there were so many outstanding looks. Ru decided that Ra’Jah was the episode’s big winner and declared that Jiggly Caliente and Yara Sofia were in the bottom.

Ra’Jah faced off against Lip Sync Assassin Brooke Lynn Hytes (who looked gorgeous) and the two went head-to-head to Janet Jackson’s “Miss You Much.” This was one fierce lip sync and both queens turned it out, leaving the judges – especially Carson Kressley – gobsmacked. In the end, Ru declared a tie and both queens pulled out their lipsticks, which both happened to bear the same name. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Jiggly Caliente…or did we?

Just like last week, Ru asked Jiggly to play the “game within a game” and, of course, she accepted. The drama continues next week, so until then, just remember that if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else? Can I get an “amen”?

PS: I can’t sign off without mentioning how amazing guest judge Big Freedia looked. I wouldn’t mind if she showed up a lot more often on the panel. You already know!
