Three's Company alum Suzanne Somers found herself in an awkward and frightening situation as a man wandered into her home as she was doing a Facebook Live for her makeup line, reported TMZ.
The incident occurred Friday at the 74-year-old’s Palm Springs residence. Somers was recording the makeup tutorial with husband Alan Hamel.
In the midst of demonstrating one of her lipsticks, Somers asked, “Is somebody there? I just heard a person.”
A man’s voice is then heard saying, “I’m here. Hi. Sorry, I was just slightly terrified over there for a second.”
Somers remains calm, engaging with the uninvited guest. She asked who he is and how he got there.
After identifying himself and saying “there were goats following me,” the man added, “a friend let me up this hill and then I came down.”
“You shouldn’t be here,” Somers responded, while noting, “you don’t scare me. But you shouldn’t be here.”
While diffusing the situation, Somers continued to interact with the livestream audience by turning to the camera to make exaggerated facial expressions.
After both Somers and Hamel instructed how to exit the property, the home intruder said he had a gift for the “Step by Step” star. “I don’t want anything,” Somers said. “You seem like a very nice person. But you shouldn’t be here.”
While it’s unclear what mental state the man was in, he apologized and was escorted off the property.
Barely skipping a beat, Somers then returned to the livestream and said she was calling the police. According to TMZ, the local police received no reports of any incident.
