Xmas Melts Pink’s Hart

Pink Carey Hart

You wouldnโ€™t know it, but there is more of a soft side to Pink than the mere color reference in her name. In fact, this soft side is revealing itself all over the place lately, whether it be on her Twitter page, or in her interview for the January issue of Womenโ€™s Health Magazine.

The singer, whoโ€™s on-again/off-again romance with motocross husband, Carey Hart told the folks at Womenโ€™s Health, โ€œWhen I met Carey, I was an abused puppy in the corner, ready to bite anyone who put their hand out.โ€ Apparently, that little pup has warmed up, as evidenced by her tweet last weekend, โ€œItโ€™s been a year of beautiful, magical moments. Thank you to all of the people that shared it with me.โ€ She also tweeted about her excitement over being reconciled with Hart after being kept from him on her Funhouse tour: โ€œHomeward bound with my darlinโ€™ @hartluck (Carey Hart). Just in time for Xmas carols and gluwein, LA style.โ€

Other evidence of Pinkโ€™s tough-girl armor melting is an admission to liking and supporting fellow pop-star, Brittany Spears. Although we all could have sworn her Stupid Girls track was an overt bash on her peer, Pink insists she is a Spears fan through and through, โ€œIโ€™ve always said I like Britney. I swear to God, Iโ€™ve stuck up for Britney since the beginning.โ€

Could it be that Pinkโ€™s badass heart is following in the Great Grinch tradition? I feel like her heart is growing three times the size (her heart, that is, not her Hart โ€“ letโ€™s keep it clean). Looks like the Holiday Spirit has wedged its way into a place that it was needed. At this rate, donโ€™t be surprised if youโ€™re able to purchase a Pink Holiday Album in 2010.
