In response to the viral video, Grande provided an explanation for the sudden vocal shift. “Habit (speaking like this for two years) and also vocal health,” Grande replied. “I intentionally change my vocal placement (high/low) often depending on how much singing I’m doing. I’ve always done this BYE.”

Grande’s statement offers insight into her vocal techniques, emphasizing her focus on maintaining vocal health while adapting to her demanding singing schedule.
