Whoops! Rob Lowe just had a major texting mishap at the Golden Globes, and it's too funny not to share!

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Lowe spilled the beans about accidentally sending a congratulatory text meant for Robert Downey Jr. to none other than Bradley Cooper. Talk about an awkward mix-up!

You see, Downey Jr. had just delivered an incredible acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, and Lowe was so excited for him that he couldn't resist reaching out. “So glad you won,” Lowe's text read. “That is the most beautiful acceptance speech I've heard in a long time. Boy, do you deserve it.”

But as luck would have it, Lowe hit send without realizing that he had just sent those praiseworthy words to Bradley Cooper instead. Oops!

Now, you might be wondering how Cooper reacted to this unexpected text. Well, according to Lowe, Cooper took it all in stride. When Kimmel asked if Cooper thought Lowe was crazy, Lowe chuckled and replied, “No, no, no. It's fine. I like living vicariously through these mistakes.”

Downey Jr. likely took it in stride since he and Lowe have been friends since the ‘80s. “Downey and I went to high school together,” Lowe told Kimmel. “In our junior year we had history together.”

“You went to Handsome High,” joked Kimmel.

“Small class,” Lowe fired back, “just the two of us.”
