Actor Ryan Reynolds penned a hilarious and over the top review of his own liquor brand, Aviation American Gin, and shared it online under the name Champ Nightengale.
A funny and attention-grabbing five-star review of Ryan Reynolds’ booze brand was actually ginned up — by the actor himself, he admitted in a social media post.
The review of Aviation Gin features a wild story about what happened after he downed too much of the stuff.
The terrifying story involving getting blackout drunk from Aviation Gin, waking up in Seattle next to a woman called Linda, who claims to be married to the reviewer.
Take a look:
“As soon as I tried the Gin I knew right away, it was amazing,” the faux user wrote on Saturday (June 22, 2019). “It was the smoothest Gin I’d ever tried and went down really easily … I had a lot.”
“What did I hate about it? I wish they’d provide some kind of warning about how much you’re supposed to have.”
“When I woke up the next day, I mentioned to my wife Linda that last night must have been a REAL blowout because I slept in my clothes. Even my shoes!”
“I also noticed it was really hard to look out the window at the Seattle skyline. Partly because of the bright sun (I’ve always been sensitive to light) but also because I don’t live in Seattle. I live in Coral Gables, Florida. Also, it’s important to note, until that morning, I’d never met anyone named Linda.”
The actor’s mother, Tammy Stewart Reynolds, later commented, “Ahhhh …. yes … I thought I heard my son’s voice in that narrative!!”
Reynolds playfully shot back, “Mom, you say that about every episode of CSI Miami.”
The gin was first made by Portland bartender Ryan Magarian and distiller Christian Krogstad.
Reynolds loved it so much, he bought the company last year.
