Erika Jayne reportedly exploded at RHOBH producers over ‘Tom calls her’ hot mic incident

Following the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired on Wednesday night (Aug. 4, 2021), Lisa Rinna claimed that co-star Erika Jayne got into a “screaming fight” with a producer, which was allegedly cut out of the episode.

“Dang it… I wish they had shown the screaming fight between the producer and Erika last night on the show in La Quinta,” Lisa wrote on her Instagram Story.

“Now that would have been epic TV. Too bad,” Lisa added. “Bravo Bravo F–king Bravo 😂😂😂. I’ll get in trouble for this in…. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 😜.”

While the Wednesday episode didn’t show the “screaming” scene, it featured Erika having an argument with her co-star Garcelle Beauvais after the latter brought up Erika’s estranged husband Tom Girardi. Erika accused Garcelle of betraying their friendship for revealing to all of their castmates that Tom still called her amid their divorce.

According to an Us Weekly insider, the trouble began when Jayne, 50, told Crystal Kung Minkoff that her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, had been calling her repeatedly. The first time Erika talked about the phone calls, though, she wasn’t on camera.

“It was a private conversation, but the women were still mic’d up,” the source explained. “So, when the girls got back to the car, the producers told Erika they heard her on audio and that she had to repeat what she just said.”

Jayne did that, speaking to both Crystal, 38, and Garcelle Beauvais — on camera — about how the 82-year-old former lawyer has tried to get in touch with her.

“I had to ask my attorney to call his attorney to say, ‘Please stop calling Erika,’” she said in the episode. “You know, it’s just horrible. ‘I love you, I miss you, come home, are you sure?’ I’m like, ‘Stop. You gotta stop, you have to stop, honey. You need help.’ And I can’t give it.”

However, it was reported that Erika actually felt “betrayed” by producers and the network. On the reason why, a source told Page Six, “They cut it and paste it in a way to make it look like she was upset, but she was actually mad that Garcelle was told what to say three times and she took the bait.. They had three different conversations about the same subject.”

“What they didn’t show is that Erika and [Crystal Kung Minkoff] had a private conversation where no cameras were on, and producers heard it via their mics. When they got in the car, producers said they overheard it and asked Crystal to ask [Erika] on camera,” the source further shared. “Bravo didn’t want to do the fourth wall. They pulled a fast one.”

Cannot wait to see what happens next week on the Erika Jayne show!
