Tom Cruise delighted a family by giving them a ride in his helicopter after landing in their garden.
The Mission: Impossible star – who is currently filming the seventh installment in the spy movie franchise in the UK – treated the Webb family to a ride in his private helicopter after they came to his rescue when Coventry Airport was temporarily closed.
Alison Webb told BBC Midlands she had been asked if her field could be used to land by a “VIP who was running late.”
She said: “I thought it would be kind of cool for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden,” she said.
“He [Tom Cruise] basically arrived and got out and it was like ‘Wow.’”
“He went straight over to the children for a chat, then came over and elbow bumped us and said thank you very much. Then he said if the kids would like they could go up in the helicopter.”
She added: “It turned out to be an incredible day. It was surreal, I still now can’t believe it happened.”
Mission: Impossible 7 Stunt Video Leak
As we mentioned, Cruise is still filming Mission: Impossible 7, and a video of a train stunt has leaked online, and it just shows you how massive these stunts are going to be in the forthcoming movie.
Incredible footage on social media shows the moment a locomotive plunged off the edge of a cliff in Derbyshire, England, as part of a stunt for the new Mission: Impossible film.
Onlookers and local photographers were left in awe as the purpose-built train steamed down a specially-made track before plunging into a deep quarry.
Mission: Impossible 7 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2022.
